This tag doesn't have a QR code — it's read by NFC only. Follow the steps below to view the information linked to this item.
This tag is an NFC-only asset tag, commonly used on water meters and infrastructure. There's no QR code printed on it — simply touch your phone to the tag to bring up its information.
Search for "NFC" in your phone or tablet's settings and make sure it's switched on.
Slowly swipe the back of your phone over the tag — just like tapping an access fob or security card.
A notification may appear on screen asking if you want to read the tag. Tap it.
Confirm to open the link, and the item's details will load in your browser.
Note: NFC tap-to-read is currently supported on Android devices. If you're on an iPhone and the tag doesn't have a QR code, see the troubleshooting section below.

Most TagAlong tags also include a printed QR code as a backup, which works on any smartphone. If your tag has one, you can use this method instead.
Open the camera app on your phone — no special app needed.
Point your camera at the QR code as if taking a photo — but don't take one.
A prompt will appear asking whether you want to read the tag. Tap it.
Confirm, and the tag's information will open in your browser.
Double check NFC is switched on in your settings, then try swiping slowly over different parts of the tag — the antenna is usually centred, but positioning can vary slightly between phone models. Removing a thick phone case can also help.
NFC tap-to-read currently works reliably on Android devices. iPhones can read NFC tags too, but background tag-reading support varies by model and iOS version. If you're unable to read the tag, contact the asset owner or TagAlong directly using the details below.
This can happen if your phone's browser blocked the redirect. Try tapping the tag again, or open the link manually if one is shown in the notification.
Each tag links to information set by the asset owner — for water infrastructure this is typically asset details, location, and relevant contact or maintenance information.
